Small charities are increasingly reliant on IT and technology. We all know how disruptive it is when emails or phone lines are down for a day; but, if something more deliberate and malicious was to occur, the consequences could be much more severe and long lasting. And, due to the random nature of these attacks, charities are no more protected against them than anyone else.

The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) has developed a guide specifically for small charities to help boost your cyber security against the most common types of cyber crime.

The five topics covered are easy to understand and free or low cost to implement. They will help to protect your charity’s data, assets and reputation.

You can also download an infographic (PDF: 1.00 MB) which summarises the techniques described in the guide.
